|Saul Tice, 80, retired farmer passed away Friday in Wayne County General Hospital, Detroit after a short illness. A lifelong resident of Lynn Township, Mr. Tice had been visiting his daughter, Mrs. Bernice Stingle, Detroit. He was born June 12, 1868 in Speaker Township. His wife, Cora Tice died in 1934.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Stingle, and Mrs. Mildred Lakin, both of Detroit, and Mrs. Helen Rapley, Yale; three sons Donald, Clifford and Hilton Tice all of Detroit; nine grandchildren, three brothers, John Tice, of Highland Park, Henry Tice, of Ruby and Jesse Tice, of Yale; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Morgan, of Yale and Mrs. Edith Douglas, of Brown City.
The remains were taken to the Fred Wood Funeral Home, Detroit and removed Sunday morning to the Gough-Peters Funeral Home in Yale. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Monday in the Gough-Peters Funeral Home. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Yale, Michigan Contributed by Mary Doederlein
