Wife of Saul Soloman Tice
CORA B. (FERGUSON) TICE 1873-1934 Wife of Saul Tice Mrs. Saul Tice, 60, who resided on a farm near Yale for many years, passed away Thursday at the home of her daughter in Detroit. She had been receiving medical treatment in that city for the past four weeks. Cora B. Tice was born March 4th, 1873, in Brockway Township, and departed this life March 1, 1934. She was married to Saul Tice, and to this union seven children were born, Harry, Hilton, Bernice (Mrs. Ernest Stingle), Mildred (Mrs. George Lakin), Donald, Clifford and Helen, all of whom survive except Harry, who died in infancy. Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her loss one sister, Mrs. Joseph Burton, two brothers, Roger and John Ferguson, and many other relatives and friends. All her life a devoted Christian, she was in 1918, upon confession of faith united with the M. P. church, of Yale, where funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m Sunday. Rev. John McLucas officiated. The body was removed to the Bankert Funeral Home, Yale, Sunday morning. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery, Yale Michigan. Contributed by Mary Doederlein
