Minerva was born Dec. 27, 1864 (twin to Mary Jane) Died: 1949, Newcastle, North Co., N. B. Live on Jane Street in Newcastle. Married: Sept 22, 1892, John R. (Jack) MacDonald. Witnesses: Albert Robinson and Sarah O'Hara. John was called "Black Jack" as he worked as a car knocker for the Canadian National Railway. John was born 1871. Died 1941 at 70 years old. At a young age Minerva had a son to a Parker, who was brought up by the Parker family. Son Charles is reputed to have gone overseas in the 1st. World War (1914-1918) and was either gassed, wounded or both. Willard was killed in action in World War 1 in France. Daughter Emery worked in Anderson Sawmill in Newcastle, N.B.; she died at age 78. Lillian is thought to have died as a young girl. Young son Lester, at about age 7 or 8 was drown. Apparently, on his way home from Sunday school he was with a group of boys who decided to do a little boating. At some point there was a problem, and the boys hurriedly abandoned the vessel whereupon Lester fall overboard and drown.
