|Samuel Franklin Wilson, of Rocky Mtn. House,
Alberta passed away in the University Hospital,
Edmonton, AB on Nov 25th, 1969 at the age of 58
years. Born in Nanton, Alberta on April 18th, 1911, he
moved to the states in 1919 and back to Nanton in
1923. In 1937 Mr. Wilson moved to Rocky Mtn.
House to farm and operate heavy equipment. He was a
former member of the Alberta Wheat Pool and F.U.A.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife Alice Way
of Rocky Mtn. House, 3 sons, Neil of Ft. St. John, B.C.
Terry and Dwight at home, two daughters Wendy Lee
of Ponoka and Kari at home, five grandchildren, two
brothers Woodrow of Rocky and Elmer of Red Deer,
two sisters Frances Kerr of Rabbit Lake, Sask. and
Bena Johnson of Red Deer. One son Franklin
predeceased him in 1944.
Funeral services were held from Memorial
Presbyterian Church, Rocky Mtn. House, AB. on
Friday November 28th, 1969 at 2 P.M. with Rev.
Gordon Cunningham officiating. Interment followed at
Pine Grove Cemetery. Eventide Funeral Chapel in
charge of arrangements.
