Ethel & her daughter Shirley came to the Hartt Reunion in Fredericton in 2004 checking to see if they fit into the Isaac family. Byron Hartt found the connection which made all of us happy to include them in our reunion. Ethel Harriett Anderson Hartt was born 1908, in her grandmother's home in Nashwaaksis, NB, she lived the first years of her life at Keswick NB; later moving to Fredericton. Ethel traveled a lot visiting Europe, England, France and Scotland. Also a seven-day cruise to Alaska, The Bahamas, twice across Canada to the Pacific Coast and back across the United States several times. She also tour around the Province of New Brunswick. She married James Elmore, son of William Dell & Robina Kelly Hartt October 1, 1949 Ethel was a lover of animals and always had a concern for their welfare. Most of her friends shared her concern as well. She was a member of the Kindness Club, SPCA and formerly The Toronto Humane Society. The death of Ethel Harriet Hartt of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, June 15th, 2006. Survived by her daughter Shirley Hartt of Toronto, ON, one brother Earle Anderson and his wife Freda; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and ten great- great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband James Hartt; one sister, Helen Arbeau. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 20th, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Ralph Irving officiated. Interment will be in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Child of Ethel & James Hartt: Shirley Hartt
