Lucy Page Hart was born October 30, 1776 in Fitchburg, Worcester MA. Parents: Jonathan Page (1742 - 1811) Esther Willard Page (1748 - 1814) She married Daniel Hart June 21, 1796 in Ashburham, Worcester County, Massachusetts, where the couple lived for a time. Then, they moved to Dublin, New Hampshire, and, then, to Canada in 1804 when Elias was born. Then, it was back to Lunenburg, Massachusetts for daughter Lucy's birth in 1808. In 1813, they were living in Keene, New Hampshire where Sewell was born. From Keene, the family moved back to Dublin in 1817 to await the arrival of Norman. In 1841, David was 68 and Lucy was 65 when they moved to Barry, Illinois, probably to be closer to their children. Mother Lucy died May 24, 1843, two years after they had moved to Barry. David died January 17, 1851, ten years after the move. According to the available records, he was a farmer. Both David and Lucy are buried in the Barry Cemetery, Pike County, Illinois. They had eight children born in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Canada. Their sons, Nathaniel, Joel, Elias, and daughter Lucy had moved to Barry, Illinois in 1838. David and Lucy Hart had the following children: Jacob, 1797-1853; David, 1799- ?; Nathaniel Foy, 1801-1884; Joel, 1803-1877; Elias, 1804-1846; Lucy, 1808-1893; Sewell 1813-?; and Norman, 1817.
