ROSS EUGENE NASON of Central Blissville, NB. After a long hard battle with cancer, Ross passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Oromocto Public Hospital on December 11, 2013. Ross was born in Fredericton Junction on May 26, 1936 to the late Clara Hartt and Victor Nason. Survived by his loving wife (49 years), Ida (McLaughlin) Nason, one daughter Lisa (Sean) Tinnion, one son Philip (Ella Fairley) Nason, his three grandchildren, Zachary Tinnion, Patrick Tinnion and Jacob Nason.He is also survived by his two sisters, Carol King and Glenna Bell, one brother Bert (Jacquie) Nason and several nieces and nephews. Ross was predeceased by his parents, as well as his sister Marion Dares and brothers Walter and Vernon Nason. For 35 years, Ross worked as a Telegrapher for CP Rail until his retirement. Ross was a life member of the Gladstone Curling Club, and a past volunteer Fire Fighter with the Fredericton Junction Fire Department. Ross was renowned for his quick wit and loved games – curling, pool, golf and word games. He was never one to sit still and was often seen tinkering on projects with his grandsons
