Foster Milo Harris of Fredericton Junction, NB died at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 20, 1999 at the age of 78. Foster is survived by his wife of 50 years Ursula (Redstone) Harris; one daughter, Edna Harris-Mawhinney (Richard) of Fredericton; three special nieces, Wendy Hunter (Blaine) of New Maryland, Dawn Marie McMillan (Chuck) of Charters Settlement, Pam Dunn (Derek) of Shubanacadie, NS; three sisters, Marie Pollock (Lloyd) of Harvey Station, Hilda Wilkins of Fredericton, Edith Ball of Lincoln; nine brothers, Keith Harris (Helen) of Tracy, Art Harris (Alice), Travis Harris (Betty), Alden Harris (Mary), Wallace Harris, Gilford Harris and Ervin Harris all of Harvey Station, Don Harris (Renna) of Cork, Howard (Marien) of Saint John; two aunts, Stella Tracy of Fredericton Junction, and Mable McLary of Brownville, Maine; several nieces and nephews. Foster was affiliated with the Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church. He retired from the CPR as Assistant Road Master and was a member of the Gladstone Blissville Seniors’ Club and 50 years member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way. He is predeceased by his parents Myrtle (Dewitt) Harris and Chester A., (Bud) Harris; two sisters, Eloise Thomas and Delia Bishop; two brothers, Gordon and Elmer. The family invites relatives and friends to Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be from the Church on Wednesday June 23, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Harrison officiating. Interment to follow in the Gladstone Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Tim Scribner, Christopher Dunn, Harold Toole, Lee Merritt, Shaun Phillips and Chuck McMillan. In lieu of flowers the family request charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413)
