the death of Mrs. Ruth U. Redstone, wife of Ottis Redstone, occurred in the Queens Sunbury West Memorial Hospital Sunday. She was 71. Mrs. Redstone was a native of Fredericton Junction and a member of the United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband; one son Charles of Portland, Me.; four daughters, Mrs. Fred Phillips, Mrs. A. Donald Scribner, both of Malton, Ont., Mrs. Harry Phillips and Mrs. Foster Harris both of Fredericton Junction, NB; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Goodwin, McAdam; two brothers, Dana and Earl both of Fredericton Junction; one half-sister Mrs. Margaret Peterson, Fredericton Junction; three half- brothers Parker W. Nason, Fredericton Junction, Hollis Nason, Harvey and Lewis Nason, St. George; sixteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at the home where prayers will be said Tuesday afternoon at 1:30pm followed by service in the United Baptist Church at 2:00pm. Rev. Glen Fountain will officiate. Interment will be in the Gladstone Cemetery, Fredericton Junction.
