Ottis J. Redstone Ottis James Redstone of Fredericton Junction died May 6th at the home of his daughter. Born in Fredericton Junction, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Neary) Redstone. He was a retired Bridge and Building employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway. He belonged to the Baptist Church. He was a member of the Gladstone Blissville Seniors Club and a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way No. 183. He is survived by 3 daughters; Mrs. Foster Harris (Ursula) of Fredericton Junction, NB, Mrs. Harry Phillips (Enid) of Rusagonis, NB, and Mrs. Donald Scribner (Eunice) of Dartmouth, NS; one son Charles Redstone of South Portland, Maine; 5 sisters, Mrs. Ann Alexander, Mrs. Hazel Reid, and Miss Doris Redstone all of Saint John, NB; Mrs. Bertha Smith of Beaverdam, NB, and Mrs. Freeman Pate of Bramford, Ontario; 3 brothers, William of McAdam, NB, John of Saint John, NB, and Samuel of Fredericton Junction, NB; 9 granddaughters, 9 grandsons, 25 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth (Nason) Redstone, 2 daughters, Margaret Phillips and Alida Redstone and one son George Dana Redstone. The funeral will be held today at 2 pm at the J.A.Adam Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB. Interment will be made at the Gladstone Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Fredericton Junction Ambulance.
