Edwin (Ed) Wesley Nason 1942-1999 Edwin (Ed) Wesley Nason of 533 Sewell Street, Fredericton, NB., died at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 9th, 1999, at the age of 57. Ed is survived by his wife Marilyn (Artes) Nason, two sons, Troy Nason (Angie) of Noonan, Andrew Nason (Laurie) of Fredericton Junction, two sisters Hilda Merritt (Lee) of Fredericton Junction, Shirley Porter (Leo) of Moncton, three brothers, Jim Nason (Sharon) of Fredericton, Lynn Nason (Jane) of Grand Bay, Karl Nason (Shirley) of Douglas, one grandson Matt Wesley Nason, several nieces and nephews. Ed was a former Math Teacher and a Tax Assessor. He is predeceased by his parents Lottie (Tracy) Nason and Dana Nason. There will be private visitation on Thursday at 7:30pm. The family invites family and friends to Sunbury Funeral home on Friday evening 7 – 9 pm. A memorial service for Ed will be held at the Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church on Saturday, June 12, 1999 at 2pm, with Rev Jim Harrison officiating. Interment of ashes to follow in the Gladstone Cemetery. You may express your sympathy by making a donation to Fredericton Junction Ambulance Service or the Fredericton Branch of the SPCA. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB. At his funeral service it was noted that Ed hated wearing ties so he seldom wore one to work – but he always kept one in his desk just in case he HAD put one on.
