Caroline Jemima Hartt was born to Thomas & Phebe Hartt of Fredericton Junction, NB in 1829. She married James Slip in 1856. She died Dec 2 1858. Her infant baby girl died at the same time. They were buried in the Blissville Cemetery - Sunbury Co. NB Taken from Sunbury Happenings Marriage 1856 Hartt & Slipp At the residence of the bride's mother, on the 16th inst., by the Hon. George Hayward, Commissioner for Solemnizing Marriage, Mr. James L. Slipp, to Miss Caroline J. Hartt, daughter of the late Pioneer Thomas Hartt all of Blissville. Death Announcement Caroline J. (Hartt) Slipp 1829- Dec 2, 1858 At Blissville, on the morning of Dec. 2,1858 Mrs. Caroline J Slipp, the beloved wife of Mr. James L. Slipp of that place, and the youngest daughter of the Pioneer Thomas & Phebe Hartt of Blissville, Mrs. Slipp left a bright evidence of her acceptance with God. As well as many relations and friends to mourn her early death.
