Allen Lee Hartt, 41, of Ephrata, Washington passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 2008 He was born on March 13, 1966 to William and Enella (Pulford) Hartt in Spokane. Hartt was raised in Ione where he attended and graduated from Selkirk High School in 1984. Following graduation he entered the U.S. Marine Corps, serving until his honorable discharge in 1986. He married his high school sweetheart Karla Krahbenhoft on September 4, 1986 in Coeur d’Alene. They moved to the Quincy area where Hartt worked for Scheake Feedlot for 17 years, most of them as a mechanic. For the past four years he has worked for Tom Bassett at Bassett Repair in Quincy. Hartt enjoyed fishing, hunting and outdoor sports. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Karla Hartt of Ephrata; children: Sarah Hartt, Kasey Hartt and Kelsey Hartt all of Ephrata; mother: Enella Gullatt of Priest Lake: sister, Dorinda Gardner of Quincy; brother: Sidney Hartt of Oregon and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Hartt. Memorial Services were held Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Quincy with Bishop Alan Williamson conducting. Arrangements are under the direction of Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel. Quincy, Washington.
