Bliss was born August 20, 1896 to Hattie Smith and Wesley Nason in Fredericton Junction, NB. He was in both World Wars and came home with a British accent. He was an ambulance driver and became wounded. He was an expert in grafting limbs onto trees. He was probably the finest musician in the Nason Family. He could play many instruments. He remained single. Bliss died March 23, 1961.
