Julian Edward Hartt was born Mar 3, 1916 in Jackson MI to George and Erma Hartt. and died Aug 12, 1984 in Torrance, CA. Julian married Eunice Gretchen Freidenberg on January 23, 1937 in Richmond, Indiana. Julian served as a Correspondent in the Pacific in World War II. Since Julian was a war correspondent, he has the distinction of being the first American to enter Hiroshima after the atomic bomb was dropped. Julianís ashes were scattered at sea. Eunice died January 13, 1948 and is buried in Green Lawn Cemetery, Franklin County, Ohio. Julian married Audrey Edgecomb March 19, 1948 in Greenville, Michigan.
