Lillian Ada Hartt and Arthur Mellen

 
 

 

Lillian "Lillie" Ada Hartt. was the sixth of seven children born to Samuel Hartt and Mary Ann Hayes.  She was born on June 10, 1867, in Hartfield, New Brunswick, and died January 20, 1951, in Lowell, Massachusetts. 

 

Lillie Hartt married Arthur Eugene Mellen on November 18, 1891.  Arthur was born on December 25, 1866.

Notes: 

Earl Rufus Mellen married Isabelle Pearl Holloway on December 3, 1921.  Isabelle was born on July 31, 1897. She died on September 9, 1978.  They had the following six children: (1) Howard Grant Mellon, (2) Earl Robert Mellon, (3) Raymond Ralph Mellon, (4) Walter Roy Mellon, (5) Joan Claire Mellon, and (6) Carol Ann Mellon. 

Judah Hartt Mellen and ? had ? children.  Ruth Janice Mellen was born on September 21, 1936.  She married three times: (1) Bernie Adkins on August 3, 1957; (2) Donald Sturtevant on October 1, 1966; and (3) Richard W. Gage in 1988.  Ruth and Bernie had two children; both were adopted by Donald Sturtevant and both are living.  Ruth and Donald had one child; living.
