David Hart and Susan

 

 

David Hart, was born on April 23, 1793, in Lynnfield, Massachusetts.  David was the eldest child born to Daniel Hart and Polly Tapley Hart.

 

David married Susan Eames on November 10, 1816.  Susan Eames was the daughter of Nathan and Susan Eames of Wilmington, Massachusetts.  David Hart and Susan Eames Hart had four children.  

 

David Hart lived in Woburn, Mass., was a farmer, and he died on December 9, 1855 of apoplexy, age 62 years, 8 months.  

 

Susan died on April 9, 1871, age 74 years, 7 months.

David Dexter Hart married Ruth Richerson Woods of Woburn, Massachusetts.  David Hart lived in Woburn, an express man, and died of apoplexy, Mar. 2, 1882. His wife was still living in 1900.  David Dexter Hart and Ruth Richerson Woods Hart had five children: (1) Charles Choat Hart, b. in Woburn, Mass. on Sept. 5, 1845, m. Filena Greene Richerson of Stoneham, Mass., on Apr. 12, 1868.  Charles Choat Hart and Filena Hart had two children: (1a) David Dexter Hart, b. Sept. 15, 1869, and (1b) Mary Coburn Hart, b. June 6, 1871; (2) George Gould Hart, b. Mar. 1, 1848. (3) Ward Wyman Hart, b. Jan. 31, 1850. (4) David Dexter Hart Jr. b. Dec. 27, 1851; d. June 26, 1853; and (5) Lavina Louisa Hart, b. July 11, 1854; m. at Woburn, by Rev. L. Thompson, Apr. 30, 1878, William Hamilton Curtis, age 23 years, b. in East Stonington, Mass., son of William H. and Ardgling (Hamilton) Curtis.  They reside at Woburn, Mass., and have one daughter, Blanch Hart, b. June 30, 1879.  

Sylvania Hart Wood and John Wood lived in Burlington, Massachusetts for a few years.  About 1863, John and Sylvania Wood moved to California.  Their children, all born in Burlington, Massachusetts, were: (1) Mary Jane Wood, born March 1, 1849; (2) John Dexter Wood, born April 7, 1851; (3) Ann Hart, born December 18, 1860; and (4) an unnamed child born November 17, 1862.
